Connecting with an audience is something Third Girl From The Left loves to do and a pivotal moment happened whilst testing out material for the new project at one of Devon’s most beloved music venues ‘The Barrelhouse’. 

Nicky recalls: “It’s always a nerve racking moment presenting a completely new project to an audience, those annoying thoughts of self doubt creep in but as soon as I started playing I could just feel the audience were onboard. There was an energy in the room, people sat up, leaned in and listened, there was a real connection, like we were all holding each other up, giving each other strength, everyone being seen and heard. That’s what I want my audience to feel.”
